ABROLHOS ISLANDS FISHING CHARTER
Welcome to the Abrolhos Islands
Large coral formations and reef ledges spread throughout the region are host to some thumping bottom dwelling fish species, including Dhufish, Baldchin Groper, Pink Snapper, Spangled Emperor, Coral Trout and Red Emperor, perfect to practice your bottom bouncing and jigging.
To get the adrenalin pumping, watch the action unfold as Yellowfin Tuna and Spanish Mackerel hit surface lures while trolling. Or, for a change of pace (and for something a little bit fancy for dinner) you can drop a craypot or two.
If you ever want a break from fishing, the Abrolhos Islands has plenty to offer. Home to the Batavia wreck, and a variety of non-fish marine life including sea lions, turtles, and more, the Abrolhos Islands is the perfect spot to take a dip, have a snorkel, or explore one its beautiful 122 islands on foot.

Non-fishing activities in the Abrolhos Islands
An eco-wonderland, the waters surrounding the Abrolhos Islands are teaming with marine life, including turtles, dolphins, seals, and of course, fish, plus the famed Batavia wreck, meaning you’ll have plenty of opportunity for snorkelling and free diving.
You can also explore the islands by foot and try your hand at spearfishing and pulling up one of our numerous craypots.
Thanks to its many islands and abundance of swell lines, the Abrolhos Islands is home to some of the best waves in the whole of Australia.
